Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students do a multitude of activities in and around school. These include participating in physical education and sports in addition to classroom learning. Students sometimes need to change their clothes in order to participate or following participation in these activities. At our school, there is a "boutique" where students can go to get items that they may need, namely clothing.

This project provides 63 pairs of underwear for students in need of a fresh pair of undies.

This will help students feel more comfortable and may even prevent a student from needing to leave the school building because of a lack of clean clothing. Being in school means more opportunities for learning!
