My students are an amazing group of people! They are eager, energetic and curious about 2nd grade. My students come from low income households and they all receive free lunch. They need the support of wonderful donors to help our classroom grow and succeed. Math literature is one of the quickest ways to ensure math access for all. Student access to math story books will introduce the language of math in a non-threatening and accessible way. Math literature is so much more engaging now, too! During the pandemic, my students enjoyed many of these books as read alouds from YouTube. My students will be so happy to get these books from the classroom library to read with their classmates or independently. With your donation, my students will grow as mathematicians and with this knowledge they will be better equipped for the world ahead of them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
