Understanding Diversity

Help me give my students an appreciation for diversity in the classroom and understand how many famous African Americans overcame challenges in their lives that impacted the nation.

My Project

I plan to use the selected books to explore the lives of many African Americans and how complicated their lives were during the Civil rights movement.

During Black History month, I plan to extensively teach diversity and inclusion.

These books would be beneficial to my students and would also give them an opportunity to read more about the lives of famous African Americans.

I plan to use the white boards for games and free time. Students will be able to use these boards to express ideas and explore their creativity.
