My Project
As a Title I school, most of the students come from very low income families who typically cannot afford to send their students to extracurricular activities. Due to this, most kids either sit at home and do nothing, or, find a way to get in trouble.
Our school is in need of new clubs to help kids get off the streets and back into the school to learn new skills.
We are looking to start an audio engineering club to teach students a new skill that would normally cost them thousands of dollars at a professional institution. Here, we would be able to teach them for free and help students enjoy a new afterschool activity using the recording equipment in this project.
We were donated a Mac and drumming/ guitar equipment. We only need the mixer, cords, dual screens for mapping inputs and applications, and a comfortable chair to sit in. Thank you!
