Under the Umbrellas: Shade for Outdoor Classroom Seating

My Project
My students love learning outside. Our team does projects & experiments outside, learning about our local wildlife, and going on short hikes around our school grounds. However, when we take our students outside to work if it's too sunny we can't stay out long because our outdoor classroom has no shade. This project would give my students more opportunities to learn outside by providing shade with some shade umbrellas.
Many kids today don't have a lot of opportunities to learn outside so I try to take advantage of any time that I am able to get my students outside learning near nature in our outdoor classroom.
We have three picnic tables in our new outdoor classroom. However, on sunny days, we don't have any shade at the tables when they work outside. This project would give us three large umbrellas & bases that my students could use to sit under outside while they work. These would make it very easy to take kids outside to learn. They could then work while they watch the butterflies, birds, and other native wildlife that also utilize our outdoor classroom.
