My Students
Our school is a STEAM school (Science, Technology, Engineering, Aerospace, and Mathematics). We are located in the inner city of Minnesota.
Our students and their families enjoy our family nights.
Due to COVID, we haven't been able to have family nights until now. We are hoping to host a few family nights outside under the stars!
My Project
The telescopes will be used during our family nights to tie astronomy into our curriculum and bring awareness to our world. They will also be used during the school day for students to view other things in the sky, learn about telescopes, engineering and aerospace.
We will talk about our night sky, career paths in STEAM (A for Aerospace), view the sky through our telescopes, create projects about the moon and stars, and enjoy connecting with one another (socially distanced) with a cup of hot cocoa.
