This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will be the youngest learners at my school 2 and 3 year old's. They will range from children that have experience interacting with other children in different settings to never being in a group setting before. Each day will be a learning experience with them and I can't wait to welcome them into my room.
My classroom is arranged to foster independence as well as allow them to move freely in our space.
To do so I will need these materials to make the room inviting. Better than paper is the ultimate best when it comes to covering walls because is durable and it doesn't rip as easily as traditional bulletin board paper.
The heavy-duty stapler will be used to place the paper on hard surface walls. The streamers will be used as seaweed, the jellyfish lanterns will be hanging from the ceiling and the reversible plushies will be in the reading corner. Ultimately the classroom will give an underwater allusion.
