This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in an urban district where most of our students come from families that live below the poverty level. Our state has recently implemented new state-required investigations.

Please help me to provide pressure blocks so my students can complete the required weather investigation.

I try to make all materials available to all of my students. The state has recently adopted new lab investigations, and I am trying to acquire materials for my students to manipulate and learn from. One of the investigations allows students to explore air pressure, so having enough blocks for the students to work in pairs would give them more hands-on experience, increasing their understanding.

I also like to provide snacks to my students because many come to school hungry. No one learns on an empty stomach.
