I teach a wonderful group of curious, creative second graders who have a love of all things STEM! I am requesting 6 Bee Bot Robots to provide my students with a hands-on introduction to coding and computer science. I am also requesting a charging station to ensure that our new little robots are always juiced up and ready to go whenever we need them!
With Bee Bot, my 7 and 8 year old students will get an opportunity to learn about the wonderful world of coding in a hands-on, developmentally appropriate way.
Most students do not have the opportunity to learn about computer science until they are much older, and I would love to give them a head start and a strong foundation.
The best thing about Bee Bot is he can be tied into all of subjects and objectives we are currently learning! For example, students can program Bee Bot to drive to the correct answer in math or navigate correctly through a food chain in science. Please help me make my vision of coding through all subjects a reality.
