My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage between elementary and middle school. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.
My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.
We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every day. We have high expectations, and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every day!
My Project
As teachers we try our best to be creative, engaging and up to date as possible with our students cultures. Teachers Pay teachers is an outstanding resource that helps up do just that. It allows us to search for specific lessons, with multiple subjects and standards.
This resource enhances my teaching and the students learning.
Not only does it allow me find review games and lessons that apply directly to my current students interests. It allows me to enhance my classrooms aesthetics by getting lessons that help uplift the look and enhance their art and STEM skills. These lessons also help me with finding ways to build up my classroom community as well. Not to mention all of the new online elements that help as schools find new ways of functioning every day.
