My Project
For most of my students being able to use a real instrument is an experience few have had, and they are all eager to begin playing our new ukuleles that were donated to us. However due to lack of resources and materials we have no easy storage method or way to tune them. I have been manually tuning each one every day before the class starts, but part of their education is to learn how to tune the ukuleles themselves. We also have to every morning get them out of boxes and then re-box them at the end of the day due to lack of storage space. This eats away time in the classroom and takes up what little time they have to practice. Many of my students come from tough situations and I want music class to be a place of rest and restoration. However due to the lack of budget for my program, we need your generosity to make this happen! Thank you!
