My Project

My students are eclectic and joyful human beings. Making music not only adds to their joy, but creates experienced musicians. Music literacy is the right of every student and applying musical concepts to an instrument ensures that music education is a vital part of my students neural engagement.

A ukelele is a community instrument.

It can be played with one player or played in a group to create a community of hearts joined in a collective musical experience.

Musical literacy is a powerful gift for my students to enjoy. Singing and strumming the ukelele is one way to make this gift unfold.
