Students love all kinds of instruments! They would especially like to learn how to play a string instrument. I would like to teach one grade level how to play an instrument and have a concert for their parents.
Learning how to play an instrument gives students confidence and helps them express their feelings.
It also improves their focus, discipline, and helps them to achieve success with their academics.
We have rhythm instruments, drums, keyboards, Boomwhackers, and flutophones; however, we don't have any string instruments. Most students would like to learn a string instrument or the piano. With a class set, I could teach over 200 students how to play a ukelele.
