This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be using the UFLI phonics instruction book to improve my daily phonics instruction. This intervention time needs to be very intentional to ensure that the students' reading ability is being built. The UFLI books from the University of Florida will be an essential part.

UF makes the best phonic instruction book and the UFLI is that book!

Having copies of the book will ensure that I can plan and deliver instruction catered to each level in my class. Phonic instruction is essential especially for English Language learners in 4th grade.
