Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 24 English Language Learners are amazing! I love that they are eager to learn. In addition to this, they love to set goals whether personal, classroom, school, or community. They have big minds! These materials are supported by the Science of Reading manual. I would like the UFLI Foundations manual and a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to order decodable readers. I plan on using these materials with my small groups to teach and reinforce phonemic awareness and phonic skills which will improve student fluency. This research-based method will ensure that my students will become fluent readers, spellers, and confident in all other academic areas.
