Help me give my students writing supplies for U.S. History and Geography class with individual pocket folders to keep assignments, maps and reference information.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students can’t learn if they don’t have their basic needs met. The students I serve are economically challenged adolescents who struggle to value the importance of school supplies. By providing them with basic supplies and removing the burden of not being able to afford these materials, I can teach them in an equitable classroom.
In a technology-driven world, students are lacking basic learning skills.
With traditional writing tools and learning skills, I can teach my students to become more adaptive learners as they learn about our ever-evolving country.
