My students need Chromebooks to take their reading quizzes; practice their typing skills, and to complete their publishing projects on Google Docs.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine you are anxious to get started on your publishing project, only to be told to "wait" because there are a limited amount of tools for you to get started and you have to wait for your classmates to finish their work before you can start?
My students are a creative group of kids who LOVE to use technology.
A lot of them don't have access to technology at home because of low socioeconomic status and high poverty. They come to school excited and ready to handle any challenge I give them. They love using the Chromebooks to take their Accelerated Reader quizzes; practice their typing skills; take quizzes on Quizizz.com to review skills; and publish their writing projects with our new color printer (funded through Donors Choose). However, because we only have 6 Chromebooks provided by the district, and with 23 students, it's hard to get everyone to finish writing on time because they have to share. They are not always very patient and are anxious to get to work. My colleagues will sometimes share their Chromebooks, but that's not an every day luxury because they need to use them in their classrooms for their students. Often times it takes some students over a week to finish their work.
My Project
These Chromebooks will aid the process of my students finishing their work in a timely manner. It will alleviate the stress of having to wait for their classmates to finish because they will have access to additional Chromebooks in the classroom. They will be able to take their quizzes without having to wait for others to take their quizzes. More students will be able to take their Accelerated Reader quizzes in a timely manner as well because they won't have to wait for a Chromebook to become available. They will also be used to access learning websites and to listen to books online.
My students are very anxious and excitable learners and patience is a very hard thing for them at times.
They will be able to publish their work faster and will be able to practice their typing skills and take their reading quizzes more frequently because there will be two more Chromebooks available for them to use. Their reading, writing, and typing skills will reach new heights because they will have these extra tools in their hands to increase learning and achieve their goals.
