My Students
In the ever-so changing world of education, it is my opinion that a focus on computer science education is a must. For that reason, that is what I am doing: preparing my students to be successful in the 21st Century. With my vast knowledge of computer science in the state of Mississippi, I am determined to turn all of my students into computer programmers and engineers. The school day for me is very structured. Imagine if you will, energetic, intelligent, and eager scholars, in a virtual setting, who will log into class before I get there because they are excited to learn. They actively participate in class discussions and look forward to learning the day’s objective.
My students are constantly asking if they will be doing hands-on projects and my director would I would love to provide them with a robotics kid to program at home.
But with limited funding in my district, I have had to put my desires on hold for hands-on projects. My students are not your typical “worksheet” students. A typical day in my classroom consists of my students eager to learn more about the world of computer science. The students feel loved in my class.
My Project
My students are in virtual learning and I am in need of two screens to assist with monitoring the learning process. This year has been difficult to monitor them when difficult to monitor them while sharing my screen in a presentation mood. I was able to do it before one of my computers crashed.
By having two screens, I feel that productivity will increase in my daily instructions and I will be able to monitor all students effectively and efficiently during online learning.
