Help me give my students an extra monitor to help them learn through the pandemic.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Jansky's classroom raised $312

My Students
We are located in Staten Island, NY. We are a title I school and we have close to 900 students. I teach third grade students. The students in my class come from very diverse backgrounds. It is an ICT class, so we have twelve students with disabilities integrated into our classroom. Some of these students have ADHD, dyslexia, autism and other learning disabilities.
With the current pandemic, all of my students are remote learners.
My co-teacher and I split into 2 groups, so the two screens would come in great when using math manipulatives or moving through our SPIRE program, which uses letter manipulation.
My Project
We are an ICT class with 2 teachers. My co-teacher and I often split into 2 groups. The monitors would really allow us to see both our students and then work that we are trying to show them. We have a full remote class of 32 students so it is difficult to monitor the students while we are sharing our screen for lessons.
Our lessons consist of a lot of screen sharing visuals.
They also require us to take our eyes off of the computer while we are writing things down or manipulating letters/math tools. Having an extra screen each would be extremely beneficial.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
