Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful group of third graders. They come to school ready and eager to learn. They are bright, curious, and love to learn. We are a Title I school and have a high population of low socioeconomic families. Yet, our families love and care very much for their children and want the best education for them. Our students deserve to have every opportunity to be academically successful. They deserve to have updated technological tools like other schools in our area.
My Project
We have been remote learning since August. I’m a third grade teacher who needs to monitor my students on one computer screen while using another computer for teaching. It has been different using just one laptop. I don’t get all my students on my small laptop screen. When my students are raising their hands, I don’t see all of them. It would make my job as a remote teacher so much easier if I had a computer monitor to see all my students! I can’t wait to have two screens!
