This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is so fun to see my students enjoy their new puppets. They use them to retell stories they are learning during their guided reading time. This helps their comprehension immensely.
The puppet show theatre would add an element of fun and excitement to our reading time. The best part is that when we are done with our fairytale unit we can turn the theatre into a store front. Imagination is a great way for kids to learn. They can write grocery list and not even realize they are practicing writing skills.
