Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a Title I school where a majority of students receive free or reduced lunch. The school consists of approximately 80% Hispanic. My class is very energetic and always ready to learn! They are the hardest working students who are so resilient!
My Project
We have survived first grade and the students are at home recharging for the new year!
We need twistable crayons for each student to use at home when they are writing in their summer journals.
They love to draw and color and when we return to school, they want to show me their work. These twistable crayons are the best for the little ones because the regular crayons tend to break and are hard to use.
These twistable crayons never break and the students love using them for all activities!
