My students are capable of changing the world. They have experienced some of the hardest times but have continued to make every effort to make their lives and the lives of those around them better. COVID-19 has thrown the world of education into chaos. Though my students have struggled, every new expectation and hardship that has been put in their path is met with the ability to keep the world turning.
While faced with challenges that would stop everyone else in their tracks, my ELA Phoenixes have continued to fly forward with determination.
They work hard everyday to be the best leaders, students, and humans they can be.
My Project
My students have been craving chances to get back to what things were like before the pandemic began. They have been resilient in their drive and focus on receiving education in a new way. These books will give them that chance.
The prospect of having brand new books will allow my students to physically grasp their education and turn the page on these past few years.
A lot of my students have struggled with reading digital versions of our class novels and stories. These books will provide a more accessible and differentiated opportunity for their reading.
