Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love learning more about the planet, and how they can take care of it. This project will help add to our classroom library, encouraging students to explore the wonders of nature and the importance of protecting our environment through fun and engaging books.

The selection includes stories and nonfiction texts that teach kids about climate change, recycling, wildlife, and how small actions can make a big difference.

Along the way, students can learn how to create art from recycled materials, share their ideas in class discussions, and even present what they’ve learned to others. This addition will encourage curiosity, kindness to the planet, and a love for reading—all while empowering young children to become protectors of their planet!
