My Project

As a fourth grade teacher, one of the main focuses of reading is on nonfiction texts. Scholastic Magazine has created the most excited and joy in my students compared to any other text I've used. It is so valuable for students to look forward to reading. That is why I am asking for your help in this endeavor.

I want to provide my new class this year with the same opportunity to get excited about reading.

I plan to use the magazines each month as I teach different literary skills. I also plan to use the interactive pieces that the online component provides. My students love the videos that go with the articles as well as the review games. I know that this will help engage my students and advance them in their reading journey.
