My Project
I teach in a rural, Title 1 school district in Ohio where many of my students face challenges outside the classroom. Despite the challenges they face, they show up each day with a desire to learn and grow. I love their curiosity, their determination, and the joy they find in the little moments of discovery. They inspire me daily!
My goal is to ignite in them a lifelong love of reading—one that opens doors to new ideas, builds confidence, and fuels their dreams.
The resources in this project will provide engaging, level-appropriate books and tools that make reading exciting and accessible. With the right materials, I believe every student can see themselves as a reader and realize that their story matters.
When students have access to materials that make them feel seen, challenged, and supported, their confidence soars—and that’s when real growth happens. Thank you for considering an investment in their future!
