My Project

I love how passionate and curious my students are about reading. They’re eager to dive into new worlds, explore different perspectives, and engage in thoughtful discussions. Each student brings something unique to the classroom, and together, they spark each other’s imaginations in exciting ways.

The resources I’m requesting—engaging books- will help create a space for them to grow as readers and thinkers.

With a variety of books to choose from, I’ll ensure that every student, from grades 3-5, can find something that sparks their interest.

Each month, our book club will explore a different theme, giving students the chance to dive into a variety of genres and topics. From adventure stories to mysteries and history, these monthly themes will be paired with meaningful activities that deepen their understanding and encourage creative thinking. Students will participate in discussions, share ideas, and work on projects that help them connect with the books in a fun, engaging way.

My goal for this project is to create an after-school book club where students can explore literature, build a love of reading, and strengthen their communication skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and diverse perspectives. They bring different experiences to the table, which enriches our conversations. This book club will help them discover new books, explore ideas, and become more confident readers. Your support will make this vision a reality, and I’m so grateful for your help in creating this opportunity for my students!
