My Students
My kids come from a place where many of them have not gotten to experience the use of technology very much, if at all. They are not given the resources that are necessary for them to develop their minds to the full potential. These children are so talented and special, and just need to receive the resources that the rest of the world gets to dig deep and show the world what they're capable of!
We are working day in and day out to show these kids that they CAN learn and they WILL succeed!!!!
My Project
These tablets will allow my students to use educational apps that will help them practice math, reading, social studies, science, and improve technological AND fine motor skills!
I plan to use these tablets in stations to allow my kids to take the knowledge that was learned in full group instruction and expand it with further exploration through tablets.
They will be able to take virtual field trips, build fluency skills through games, practice their fundamental math skills, and MUCH MORE!
The tablets will also allow them to search definitions or do research while our minimal supply of computers are being used, and create a continuous learning environment in the classroom!
