Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is focused on giving the teacher and students what they need to be successful in the classroom with or without ADHD, learning self-regulation, or just extra wiggles.
The tools here are for organization, and managing symptoms of ADHD and related struggles.
ADHD effects any number of the 8 executive functioning skills; impulse control, emotional control, flexible thinking, working memory, self-monitoring, planning and prioritizing, task initiation, and organization.
The wiggle cushions, chair bands, and velcro carpet tape all allow for extra freedom to move while still happily learning.
The shelf and containers allow for greater organization.
Thank you for anything you do, even if it is just passing this information on, so it reaches more people.
