it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I want to make a difference in the life of at-risk youth, and my classroom is where it all begins! I work in a Title I school district in an urban setting where many of my students lack access to the resources that are necessary in our classroom. My students are wonderful kids who are eager to learn, and I want to provide the best education that I can for them!
My Project
Our students often work on iReady, and use their laptops during centers for a listening center as well. When you have 8 students on laptops at the same time it can get pretty noisy and make it hard for some students to focus. Some of my students also have sensory issues as well, so all of the noise will tend to cause overstimulation. Having these headphones available to students in our classroom will lead to less distractions, but also give my students with sensory issues a calmer and quieter learning environment.
