This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher who delivers professional learning at multiple sites across my district over the course of the school year, having access to reliable technology is extremely important. There are many times where having access to connect to technology is challenging and having access to see my notes and slides while presenting is also a challenge.

These resources will provide ongoing access to technology resources to help effectively deliver professional learning and connect tech-based educational resources to a tablet that would not otherwise seamlessly link to my computer while also presenting.

The tablet will also provide participants the ability to actively engage and respond to questions and prompts throughout our professional learning experience in a way that I could not capture without having this resource. This resource will allow me to download learning apps and engaging technology based programs that capture participant thinking and engagement as the professional learning experience is happening. Having access to the apple streaming device will allow access to these learning based apps and consistent technology that isn't dependent on the TV being utilized.
