This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These headphones will help students block out distractions, allowing them to focus deeply on their reading practice and assignments. By using the microphones, students can record themselves reading aloud, track their fluency, and engage in interactive programs that adapt to their individual needs. This constant practice and feedback will strengthen essential skills like decoding, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension. With these resources, students will build confidence, develop stronger literacy foundations, and make meaningful progress toward mastering grade-level reading standards. Having access to such tools is a critical step in helping them reach their full academic potential.
