My Project
We set sail on our Titanic unit at the end of the school year. This unit is always a favorite of mine and my students. We participate in various activities throughout the unit. Students choose a passenger and pretend they are on the Titanic. They research their passenger and even participate in a safety drill before we set sail.
My project will allow my students to create Titanic-themed tumblers to keep as a gift at the end of the Titanic unit.
Students will design the tumbler image and create it using a sublimation printer. They will use a heat press to apply their design to the tumbler. This will serve as a STEM project while allowing my students to have a keepsake from a memorable unit.
