Help me give my students new Tug O War Ropes for Physical Education!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Oitker's classroom raised $245

My Project
Our students love Physical Education (PE)! The majority of our students are free/reduced lunch. They are not able to participate in many activities outside of the school day. While they are in school, they are able to participate in a wide variety of activities and lessons throughout the school year. We try to focus on specific units of learning each week but we also like to add in a little fun. Students learns about different motor movements, hand eye coordination/foot skills, and how to incorporate these movements/skills into games.
One day a week, we like to let our students enjoy a Fun Day while they are in PE class!
The activities on Fun Friday may change throughout the school year, depending if we are able to go outside or if the weather keeps us inside. We would like to add a couple of new Tug O War Ropes to our equipment closet. All of our students would be able to use the ropes (from 50 feet to 75 feet) on our Fun Fridays! Students would be able to demonstrate their own strength as they pull against other students using the Tug O War rope. We encourage our students to increase their strength each day and test their own limits as well as do their best while in PE!
