Tubano Drums

Help me give my students a better and more hands-on music education with tubanos - an essential music class item for young students to learn how to play and blend instruments of all different sounds before reaching band.

My Project

My students are hands-on and eager learners in a very small and underfunded school. I love how they are ready to learn and become the best musicians possible. Tubanos will help my students become more excited as well as learn more about musical timbre and blending by using big drums. They will feel special using such a large instrument and will have the chance to gain skills necessary for band.

As a K-12 music teacher these instruments will benefit my entire program.

Even if the older students don’t use them, the younger students will come in more prepared, making my high school band more successful. My students will be more than thrilled to have these drums.
