My Students

Each year my students are excited about learning new genres of music. They have been exposed to many styles since I have been at this school. My students are excited about learning and always up for a new challenge.

These wonderful students have overcome many harsh circumstances in their neighborhood.

It would be awesome to provide them the necessary tools to become beacons of light in the community. This year they will experience the drumline in a new way. They are in need of new equipment and cymbals for the ensemble.

My Project

This year I'd like to expand our percussion section to include these cool pitched tubes. Our students have been learning how ordinary items become musical instruments and what an awesome item to introduce to ambitious young students. The visual notes on the instruments make it easy to identify each pitch and limit unnecessary mistakes.

My students would appreciate a break from the traditional percussion instruments.

We could even include this set in our more traditional works. I'm so excited to hear what the students come up with this year with these new incredible tools. I know they will appreciate all donations toward this project.
