Help me give my students flexible seating so they can move around in comfort.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Malik's classroom raised $279

My Students
My class consists of 32 beautiful and intelligent children who strive to be the best even though they are faced with many challenges. I work in Brighton Beach, New York. People might envy my children's living conditions, yet many of my students come from low-income homes.
I tell my students, "Once you're my student, you will always be my student." I strive to set the bar high for what their education should be worth.
As a first year teacher, I want them to know what they are worth.
My Project
Most students have a working gym, not my students. Due to construction, my students are stuck in a classroom. They spend 6 out of 7 periods in our class. In addition to not having a gym, my students are not going out to release their energy. Even if they are fifth graders, they need to move.
There is no better way to show your support for a student-centered classroom, than creating a classroom from a child's point of view.
My students love sitting on the floor and relaxing while doing work. To make them more comfortable, I want flexible seating for them. Please help my 32 beautiful students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
