When you walk into my classroom, you will be greeted by students creating music together. You will also see students who respect and trust each other and love to play music games, sing songs, dance, and play instruments. They love to be creative and imaginative.
My students love to be Tuneful, Beatful, and Artful in my classroom.
We strive to be our best and grow every day. Our school is located in a trauma sensitive, rural community. I teach 450 students from kindergarten to 4th grade.
My Project
Students will use these drawing tablets to create their own music. They will practice writing music notes and songs on them. As 2nd - 4th grade learn how to draw music notes, these will be a great way to make practicing fun.
My class will be able to use these writing tablets as a fun alternative to paper and pencil while practicing writing music.
These can also be used in several center activities that we do in the music classroom, as well as whole group activities. I love that they take place of all those Expo markers that I have had to buy every year!
