it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of a second pair of vision impairment goggles! As a health educator I will be covering various topics including drugs and alcohol. My goal is to introduce to my students what it is like to be under the influence and how it can affect the body. Through the use of the goggles, students will get to see first hand the damaging effects of how alcohol can negatively impair ones' vision. It will assist my students to be able to understand the danger of consuming excessive alcohol. With one vision impairment goggle, I will be able to provide students an opportunity to experience vision impairment. With a second pair of goggles, I can ensure every student receives enough amount of time to learn!
