Tropical Oasis Calming Corner for Mental Health Awareness

Help me give my students a tropical oasis calming corner for their mental health and stress management. I’m building a calming corner in my 9th grade English classroom to help students manage anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges.

My Project

A calming corner will create a safe space for my students to deal with stress, anxiety, and emotional issues and improve student focus, engagement, and motivation within the classroom. The tools will allow students to support the development of social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, self-management, and emotional resilience. By integrating mental health support into the classroom shows the students that their well-being is just as important as their academic success. My students are bright and full of potential--but many face challenges beyond the classroom. Despite outside obstacles, they are resilient.
