Tripod & Teleprompter: Tools for Student News Success
Help me give my students , who work on the Student News, a teleprompter and tripod to assist the preparation and editing for recording our news programs every week!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students here at Carter are resilient.
They come from low economic backgrounds, where they have had few chances to be uplifted.
The hardships these students face on a daily basis vary from taking care of younger siblings, to working on weekends to help their families, to being the family interpreter and having to learn/master a second language.
Through donating, you are giving these students opportunities to expand not only their understanding of performing and working backstage, but their storytelling abilities, their communication skills, and their creative/critical thinking.
My Project
Students will use the tripod to mount the teleprompter onto, the tripod is a heavy duty one capable of holding everything needed. The teleprompter is a high quality one for the price, it provides clear wording for students to read off while recording!
Through using the teleprompter and tripod, students will no longer struggle with making eye contact with the camera and reading out the Student News!
