This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our scholars do not have the ability to learn how to ride a tricycle or bike while at home. In an effort to educate the whole child, having tricycles in each classroom would allow us to successfully teach students how to ride a tricycle.
Having these tricycles in each of our 3K and Pre-K classrooms will allow students to develop their motor skills through pedaling and steering actions.
Students can use the tricycles during outdoor play in the warmer months or in the halls during the winter months. Classroom paraprofessionals and teachers will assist the students in learning how to ride the tricycles.
