My Project
Our students and their families are very involved in our community. As a school we discuss what we can do to help our environment, especially our neighborhood.
As a service to our community, and to celebrate Arbor day 2024, we would like to gift each student in our school a tree seedling.
Our school sits in the heart of a high desert: we do see all the seasons, but there are many hot days of summer where it would be great to seek the shade of a tree.
Our goal is to provide every student in our school a seedling to take home and nurture with their family. They will be planting and caring for the tiny stick, and watching it grow into a mature tree. By sending home a living tree, the students' education will continue as they see the value of trees and how they help our environment.
