This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher in a high need school breakfast and snacks are not often given to the students. They wait for lunch to be their meal.

I want to provide snacks for my students to help get them ready to learn for the day.

I want them to focus on learning and not being hungry.

Many students don’t come from homes where they might get a snack. They often come into school upset because they didn’t get breakfast because of rushing or not having anything in the house to eat. This can give them a pick me up of their choice when they need it .
