My Project

Writing is hard for many students, especially those with disabilities. My students thrive with support and encouragement to keep persevering through a task that is mentally and physically difficult. It is a challenge to keep students motivated and excited to work on writing.

Providing my students with colorful paper, white boards and treats will help energize their writing and inspire them to work towards achieving goals.

During writing centers and writing units, students will have more options of how to produce writing and earn rewards for working hard. Whiteboards also help me provide accommodations to support students.
