My Project

I am requesting a new treasure chest for my first graders. Over winter break, my treasure chest was invaded by some hungry mice looking for chocolate. In the spirit of the new year and the need for new prizes untouched by pesky rodents, I am seeking donations for a new and fully stocked treasure chest.

Children feel motivated to come together when working towards a goal!

In my classroom, students are grouped into 4 tables. Every day, students showing Tiger Pride (respectful, responsible, and safe) earn a tally for their table group. The tables with the most tallies receive a prize on Friday. I have kept this tradition in my classroom for the previous 3 years. The kids love it and it forces them to work together as a team. As a result, I often need to replenish the prizes. I am seeking donations to continue this tradition and continue to bring joy into my classroom!
