This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have just switched positions from a Special Education Life Skills environment to a General Education, 2nd Grade Classroom and I want to be ready.

Motivating students in your classroom can be challenging, so having a treasure chest with prizes to ear can really help.

Students enjoy being rewarded, so why not have a treasure chest with tangible prizes.

Positive reinforcement goes far with students and a chance at diving into the treasure chest may be the motivation they need to participate in their learning.

The variety of prizes are zipper bracelets, egg-shaped sensory sand, sunglasses and fidget toys.
