Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This classroom project revolves around motivation and a positive behavior management system. In my classroom, when students are showing great effort, or being a role model to their peers, they receive a raffle ticket. They turn in this raffle ticket and throughout the day I will hold drawings where the kids can win a prize from the treasure box, a candy, or even a sticker.
I have seen this system positively affect my students' work and demeanor.
Not only is it a quick brain break that gets them motivated and excited, but it is a chance to build community and relationships in the classroom. With your help, I can continue to reinforce good behavior and make learning fun!
