Treasure Box Prizes and Praises for Learning English
Help me give my students rewards for doing a good job in class as they learn to speak and write in English. English Language Learners need daily rewards and treasure box prizes will motivate them to do well.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My English Language Learning class is focused on praises and rewards for effort in the classroom because quite often my ELL students come lacking the self confidence to participate in class due to their lack of English language skills.
However, rewarding my ELL learners with treasure box erasers such as, mini squishy toys, playdough, animal erasers, and motivational stickers will encourage them to participate in class more, work with their peers, as well as focus on completing their daily assignments.
My students will use their bright colored privacy boards with motivational words on it to help them complete their tests and for some students it helps them complete their daily work and not get easily distracted by their peers. The electric stapler will help my students easily staple their multiple hand-outs that they get in the morning or afternoon during Reading or math time.
Additional ways that these rewards will help my students will be for making good choices by staying busy after completing their daily assignments, such as reading a book or working on their handwriting, and following the classroom rules such as, showing responsibility, kindness, safety, and having a positive attitude.
