Treadmill Needed to Enhance Cardio Endurance in Our PE Classes!
Help me give my students a new treadmill for our cardio room to be used by the entire building during PE classes and afterschool sports teams.

My Project
We are seeking a new treadmill for our cardio room at HHS. This cardio room is utilized by all students in our PE classes along with afterschool athletics, over 999 students on a daily basis.
Cardio endurance and heart health are the foundation of a student's overall health and wellness.
A new treadmill in our current cardio room will help foster daily cardio endurance for all students in our building, including students with disabilities and marginalized students who can't afford a personal gym membership outside of a school day. Along with cardio endurance, working out on a treadmill will improve muscle strength and endurance. A treadmill workout will also benefit students' mental well-being by reducing stress, and anxiety, and improving overall mood. Finally, we are the largest high school at Milwaukee Public Schools and a new treadmill will offer weather independence since we live in a state with long winter months and utilize our cardio room every hour of the school day with over 1,500 students attending our school during the 2024-2025 school year.
